Group, which represents the cultural and educational
organisations in the area
- Local residents -
represented by a Community Involvement Group that has been in place
since 2007
- English Heritage -
who believe that the project will enhance the historic assets in
the area
- The Commission for Architecture and the
Built Environment (CABE) - who say that "the boldness and
simplicity of the scheme has the potential to transform the street
into a recognisable and memorable place"
- Disability groups – who
have shown their support for the improved accessibility that
this scheme will bring to the area for wheelchair users and
others
- Living Streets - the
national charity working to create safe, attractive and enjoyable
streets around the UK
- Whizz Kidz - the UK’s leading
children’s mobility charity, who are helping us by auditing
and assessing the project
