Welcome to InTRANSIT Festival of Arts, an exciting, fresh and contemporary series of newly commissioned arts events

Artists call out for InTRANSIT Festival 2014 has now closed. Please email intransit@rbkc.gov.uk with any enquiries.

Each year InTRANSIT transforms the streets, parks and public places of Kensington and Chelsea into a riotous feast of culture.

The festival this year takes place from 18 to 27 July 2014 in Kensington and Chelsea and promises an interactive summer programme of artist-led walks, interventions, promenade performances and commissions that engage all ages.

This website tells the story of last year's InTRANSIT Festival as we await this year's programme and new website.

In the meantime take a look at some of the highlights from last year's InTRANSIT Festival including Crashed, the aftermath of a UFO crashing on an abandoned car park in Notting Hill, RCM Sparks and the Royal Albert Hall present: Albertopolorchestra, an orchestra on the move through the borough’s streets, and the colourful history of the King’s Road Routes of Kings and Punks, told through the medium of discarded chewing gum, prompting public responses to environmental littering.
