Children and Young People’s Plan
First published in 2006, Kensington and Chelsea’s first Children
and Young Person’s Plan sets out the Council's priorities, a
shared vision for families and children and how these will be put
into practice.
It covers all services for children and young people aged 0-19,
care leavers and young people with learning difficulties up to the
age of 25. It includes everything from universal services for all
children such as schools, through targeted services for children
with particular needs, such as speech and language therapy through
to specialist services for children with the most complex needs,
such as respite care for children with disabilities.
