Description

Full-length drapery study for the first kneeling female figure from the left in the fresco 'Phoenicians Bartering with Ancient Britons' (1894-95, Royal Exchange, London). The head, right arm and lower legs are also lightly indicated.

Purchased by the Ashmolean Museum in 1965
