Interpretation
The inscriptions on this page include the name address of a person in Paris, the name and address of a person in Germany, and the words "Une parabole" which is French for an arc or parable. This arc could be a reference to the shape of the fresco 'The Arts of Industry as Applied to Peace' which Leighton was working on at about this time.
