Description

Left of sheet: full-length draped study for the female figure on the far right of the painting 'The Dance' (c.1881-83, Leighton House Museum, London). Centre of sheet: full-length draped study for the same female figure with body turned to face the viewer, head in profile facing to the left and tambourine held at head height. Right of sheet: full-length draped study for the female figure on the far left of the painting. Lower right of sheet: full-length draped study for the female figure, second from left in the painting and seen just behind the previous figure.
