Full-length, standing male and female figure facing to the left. The male figure stands behind the female. The female figure holds a double flute to her mouth, whilst the male figure adjusts her fingers. Bother figures are in classical dress. The male figure wears a hat with a wreath of leaves around the brim. Behind the figures is a woven fence, and a pitcher lies on the ground to the left of the painting. The background is a landscape with mountains and trees.
