Parking

Demand for parking in Kensington and Chelsea is far greater than the amount of kerb space available. We provide the maximum number of parking spaces we can without compromising the safe movement of traffic or the residential environment.

Nearly all of the Royal Borough is a Controlled Parking Zone and the rest is part of the TLRN (Red Route) so all kerbside space is either a parking bay or has a yellow line or red line waiting restriction.

During controlled parking hours you may not park on single yellow lines and must pay to park in pay and display bays. Residents' parking bays operate at different times and some operate on Sundays, so please be sure to check the signs before parking.
