Interpretation

This scene is been described as a "father teaching his son to shoot" Ormond Exhibited at the Royal Academy of Arts in 1893 (catalogue number 105).

Description

A young boy stands and aims to shoot with a bow and arrow. His aim is guided by a yound man sitting behind him and looking over his shoulder.
