Seated female child, turned to the left. The figure is cross legged on an Oriental rug facing a decorative reading stand with a book resting in the stand. The face is in profile reading the book. The figure's hands rest in her lap. The figure wears decorative peach silk clothes. The background shows a decorative tiled wall, which includes a flower motif.
