Bagshot Park 25 April 1881 Dear Sir Frederick Your kind note followed me here, where I have been spending the last few days and I hasten to say that I shall hope to be at the Royal Academy by, or about 3, on Thursday, in company with the Duchess of Connaught and my Children and, I conclude, my sister, the Grand-Duchess of Mecklenburgh. The Duke is, I regret to say, still at Vienna, so that he will, this year, be deprived of being at the Private View and at the Dinner on Saturday, two annual events, I know he always quite looks forward to! Ever, dear Sir Frederick, Very sincerely yours Mary Adelaide
