Dear Sir Frederick
The anxiety I was in about my dearest Mother when last you asked me to see the Ancient Masters, having, thank God! disappeared, I can this time accept your invitation for the Modern Exhibition, looking forward mostly to admiring the pictures of 'ne fort as [-]'! Has Her Majesty expressed a wish to have my Niece's portrait exhibited? I hear it is a pretty likeness of her.
