Dear Sir
I have received your note and that of our common friend Sir A Blomfield. Unfortunately I have on Thursday engagements which put it out of my power to have the pleasure of seeing you, but may I seize this opportunity of saying that M A [Keine's?] is well known and that there is at least one large specimen of its application in the S. Kensington Museum. I should be happy later on to give it a trial but could not possibly do so now.
