Many thanks for your kind little note. I was sorry when I heard from Andrew that you weren't coming up and wish, for myself, that you had both been in town - but quite understand you not coming away alone. If you want to know what I said to the young folks you have a great advantage in reading it. You can measure the dose - which is more than the victims could last night. However they listened splendidly.
I know that pretty word 'lease' (the German for to glean is almost the same) and like the little symbolism over it. May you carry it out for yet many serene years!
