DescriptionDear Mary
One line to thank you in haste for your very kind letter but mainly to beg you not to be in the least uneasy about the strengthening of Signor's glasses - seven years indeed!! I had mine changed after two & then again after another two. This change implies no deterioration to the organ but only impaired power of muscular adoption. If he lives to be a hundred the optician can follow him with glasses gradually strengthening. Be of good cheer therefore - give him my love and believe me always
Yours affec'ly
Fred Leighton
