I'm very glad to hear that you were the better for your day in town but oh! how lucky you are not to be here today! What a day! I saw your lithographed head in Paris & thought it charming - the hair particularly, was beautifully drawn. Don't say anything to Val about the gate; these things don't emanate from him and Florence (entre nous) is a lunatic.
