The benevolence and good disposition of your Excellency to your inferiors, encourage me to trouble you with my humble letter; wherin I esteem it my first duty to present your excellency with my most sincere thanks fo the place appointed for me at Sveabourg, with which I could always have been contented had not other circumstances respecting kindred and humanity grieved and oppressed me.
I have three young childern and six ones left orphans, after my sister, to my care of whom no one attained yet the proper age, and to whom I have no means to give any suitable education in Sveaborg; and likewise I have no body to whol I could entrust them.
Being in these perplexed circumstances, I take the liberty to bed most humble your excellency, when you find this request reasonable, to reappoint me to any other city, where I could be enabled to educated my kinsmen and children agreeable to my wishes; I would esteem myself very happy to be employed by the former office at Revel.
Your Excellency! please to take this my petition, humanity, poor orphans and my sixteenth year service into your kind consideration. Your kindness will impress with never indelible gratitude , him who submitting himself to your protection and will, feels happy to remain, with sentiments of perfect estemm and profound respect,
