DescriptionLetter to Marion Sambourne from her daughter Maud, saying that Lennie has gone fishing although the weather is so bad, she and Mrs Gibson are staying by the fire, praises the Abbey, they hope to go to Abbotsford that afternoon, she and Lennie walked up part of the Roman encampment yesterday and returned along the banks of the Tweed, hopes that Alice Linley and Cousin Fanny will be able to come and stay soon, urges her to ask Nurse Frances for anything she wants and hopes the children are not too much for her.
