DescriptionA faux ancient frieze entitled 'BATTLE OF THE AMAZONS.' depicts a Suffragette beating the figures of the Prime Minister Henry Campbell-Bannerman (1836-1908), Chancellor of the Exchequer Herbert Henry Asquith (1852-1928) and another figure of the day [James Bryce (1838-1922) or John Elliot Burns (1858-1943)] with a rolled up umbrella. Inscribed above the frieze is 'PVNCH.' and below 'VOL. 133.' On the reverse is an unfinished pencil sketch of the front finished image.
