DescriptionArtist's proof engraving on paper. The Prime Minister Henry Campbell-Bannerman (1836-1908) rides a horse that pulls a bathing machine back to shore. Riding on the bathing machine is a group of anthrophormic parliament Bills each inscribed with a different name 'FINANCE BILL', 'ARMY BILL', 'SMALL HOLDING BILL' and 'EVICTED TENANTS BILL'. In the background are two bathing machines being submerged by the rising tide of the sea, on each bathing machine a group of Bills wave their arms to get the attention of Campbell-Bannerman.
