Description | Pocket sketchbook of metallic surfaced paper, full-bound in black leather, blind tooled, with metal clasp, a pencil holder with pencil and pocket inside the front cover (contains two folded sketches). Sketchbook contains studies by Linley Sambourne of boating figures, a Norse carving as featured in the cartoon 'OUR YOTTING YORICK', Swedish shoes and a snack sideboard as seen in Punch cartoon 'MORE FROM OUR YOTTING YORICK' and many local figures dressed in military and police uniform. It also contains Sambourne's notes and thoughts about Sweden and St. Petersburg. |
