Dear Sir Frederic
I have to thank you very much for a kind note of Augst 20th and an Illust. Catalogue which you kindly sent here for H.R.H. The Crown Princess's acceptance.
We only arrived here a few days ago from a long stay in Italy and first in Tyrol. It was lovely at Portofino near Genoa. All seems dull and dark here after the colours of the Riviera.
We were all very sorry to have missed your visit to Berlin, but read all about your stay here and successful speech in the papers. For all the trouble which you had so kindly taken about the English parts of the Inbilucums Austellung thanks as reward seems so little. H.R.H. The Crown Princess together with the Crown-Prince desire me to so thank you very much over and over again.
I trust you are well. Might we have the pleasure of meeting you when we come to England next year.
Believe me, dear Sir Frederick,
Very sincerely yours
G Leckenoff
