Dear Mr Deschamps
Mr Richmond R.A. whom I saw this evening said that if it were not too late he would be quite willing to send a portrait to Paris. I told him I feared it was too late but that I would write and see. You would hardly get it till Monday as he would have to write to Lord Salisbury for it. Please write me a line. I have not had, but, I suppose, shall have a formal receipt of some sort for the pictures (4) Dollman fetched from my place yesterday.
