Dear Mr Deschamps
I leave early tomorrow morning & write to say that I have left instructions that you may take your clients, as agreed, to see the 'Andromache' & the Phryne during the first 3 weeks of Sept[em]ber, or, if you write to my butler, for a little longer - in October the house will be inaccessible.
You would of course not fail to explain that the large picture is only underpainted & will not be completed a moment sooner than next spring (for the R.A.)
