Dear Hodgson
In the draft of settlement which Mr Robinson has made out concerning the proceeds of Mason's sale, I see no mention of our Fund, and perhaps it would be better to keep the two apart - will you therefore be so very kind as to sketch out a simple document in virtue of which you and I undertake the trust for the £1500 contributed by his friends and stating the manner in which we have invested it and how we purpose that the interest should be payed. We could then send this draft to Mr Edwin Mason who offers gratuitous service and might perhaps be hurt if not employed.
Yours Ever truly
Fred Leighton
