Description | Sunday Dear Hodgson I am so sorry to hear that you are not well, by all means come in the week. I should however like you to see the picture if possible in the frame; it will make an enormous difference. I should propose therefore that you did not come till to'ards end of the week - (say Friday at 5?) as I suppose that horrible framemaker must have sent at least part of the frame by that time. Will that do? I am rejoiced to be able now to say that the work has gone more rapidly that [sic] I had ventured to hope and that by sticking at it incessantly I may expect after all to be able to send your picture to the R.A. - It is a relief to my mind & no doubt to yours tho' you would not have said so. Sincerely yours always Fred Leighton |
