With regard to your frieze I am v[er]y anxious not to disappoint you unwittingly - I hope Aitchison has said clearly that I could not possibly begin till next summer - and that the work must of necessity be very sketchy and slight - each panel is as long as the Daphnephoria.[MS. illegible] yours sincerely
