Dear Stewart
I just hear that you have kindly sent me some birds and I hasten to thank you from this remote region with many regrets that I can't eat them (but I have I directed Kemp to send them where they will be equally appreciated). I am just going to run over to the Castle to pay my respects & hear that Ned (Revelstoke) is there with his wife, whereat I rejoice. Weather middling but enjoyable.
