Dear Lehmann
(I write to you because I am not quite certain whether Mrs Lehmann is in London). On Sunday evening the 16th inst Joe and the Halles and Piatti are coming to make music to me - beginning about ten. I hope you and Mrs Lehmann will come and hear them and I hope also much that a certain admirable young singer of our acquaintance will come with you and give me and my friends the great pleasure of listening to her.
