I have a very heavy 'courier' today as I answer your note rather laconically. I do not know Cartwright's address at Aix lad Chapelle - but I do know from Wanda le Strange that he has got well thro' his second operation - this time with chloroform and is now leaving the hospital - but I fancy it will be weeks before he can move again - and then - ? It is a sad business - the mischief is hereditary - or general in the Sandizell blood (his mothers).
