On the point of leaving England by the doctors' orders, I write a hasty line through the hand of my secretary to say that I shall be happy to send a Head (in 'spirit fresco') to your Exhibition. It is a study for one of the heads in a large fresco painting which I have presented to the Royal Exchange, and which will probably be seen by the public in a month or two.
