Description | Pisa 1 Oct 1889 Dear Madam [Miss Ellen Rushton] I have been travelling about rapidly (in Spain till now) and my letters have found me at very irregular intervals or you would have heard from me sooner. I am quite willing to lend you for Exhibition the head you reproduced but as I am from home till Nov[em]ber there is some little difficulty about it. (I am not quite sure by the bye that it is not already lent somewhere else). My studio is [-] and everything more or less inaccessible as I have workmen in the house; the only suggestion I can make is that you should go with this letter and, taking a reproduction with you, ask my manservant if he can find it for you. Perhaps he may be able. If you can lay your hands on it you are welcome to exhibit it. I am Yours faithfully Fred Leighton
