One of the two friends that were to have dined with on Thursday is obliged to go abroad unexpectedly soon. I shall therefore bring only one friend to the dinner. I have mislaid the note which was addressed to me from the Trafalgar Inn by Mr [-] ( I forget the name) and so can't answer him - is it necessary? And if so will you kingdly let me know the worthy individuals name?
