Please forgive a dreadfully busy old party for not acknowledging sooner your note & kind donation (the latter has been duly forwarded). I need not tell you how rejoiced I am at your recovery from a sharp attack. We will dismiss for many a year the discussion of the lugubrious topic of 'memorials'!!
Tell me something of more immediate importance what picture or pictures of yours are we to apply for for the Paris Exhibition. Our space will I fear be very crammy but we must have two Watts.
