Very many thanks for the hint. I hope the pictures may have returned in this shipload - at all events I have wired at once about it. I have taken no end of trouble to get my friends properly represented in Paris - sometimes with success & sometimes not, but when I have succeeded I don't grudge the labour I assure you. It is my duty to do all I can to get England's credit upheld in such a case.
