DescriptionDear Mary
Thank you for your kind little note. Tell Signor with my love that I am simply disgusted with him for being ill at the time of my concert. However if all his ailments are to result in his jumping out of bed with a brand new picture on his brain I shall be reconciled to them. Today we have had sunshine, thunder, hail, snow, rain, a gale, bright light alternating with pitch darkness and now a cloudless moonlight! A varied programme. The Music was superb. May came & will tell you all about it. It was a pleasant [-] but I am concerned that poor Andrew is so seedy.
In haste
Yours affec'ly
Fred Leighton
