DescriptionDear Mary
I enclose a letter from Mr Westlake (which kindly return) setting down exactly, for submission to the members of Council who were not present the other day, the terms we propose to offer to Mr Rossiter for his life interest. Will you & Signor kindly let me know whether they have your assent? Lady Burne Jones has shewn me your note. The suggestions about Mr Kemp Welsh is very valuable; it would however be to the post of Director that he should be invited if (as I hope) Rossiter resigns. The Treasurership has been (practically) accepted by Mr Pyke Thompson our greatest benefactor. In much haste with love to Signor
Yours affect'ly
Fred Leighton
