| Description | Files of materials on exhibitions held at Leighton House since 1901. One of the first functions of Leighton House Museum was holding exhibitions open to members of the public although they have altered in type and format over the years. Materials vary in extent but can include catalogues, posters and fliers, press releases and cuttings, biographical information on exhibitors and images. Press cuttings on exhibitions held in the early 1960s can be found at LH/7/6/2-4. Larger exhibitions held since 1996 have been sub-divided into following categories Administration /1, Research /2, Loans /3, Layout including captions and labels /4, Publications /5, Events /6, Publicity /7, Images /8, Comment Books /9, Touring /10. |
