DescriptionLetter from Edward Linley Sambourne, artist,to his wife Marion, saying he boarded yesterday at 8pm and describing the dinner, they left at 7am passing several submarines and the Eddystone lighthouse, expects to go to Lands End then turn back and anchor at Plymouth, the ship vibrates a bit and makes it difficult to write, lists some of the other guests. Note added to say that Lord Alverstone wants them to visit him on the Isle of Wight.
