DescriptionLetter to Marion Sambourne from her brother Edgar Herapath, saying they arrived [in Shanghai] the previous day and will start for Kobe next month, describes the voyage from Hong Kong, hopes to go up the Yangtze river to Hankou and to see Nanking, this [Shanghai] is a very interesting place but not as pretty as Hong Kong, they aim to be in San Francisco by June and he would like to see the leper colony near Honalulu, he is struck by the extraordinary number of Germans one meets travelling now.
