DescriptionLetter to Marion Sambourne from her brother Edgar Herapath, describing the journey from Aswan to Khartoum, gives his impressions of Khartoum, glad to hear she is at Ramsgate as he does not think it is healthy for her to be so much at Stafford Terrace, hears the Parents' grave is satisfactory, suggests they meet at Vittel next July, outlines the next few days travelling, he has had a long letter from Mervyn [Herapath] and does not think that Fitzroy [Herapath] will return to Sandhurst, hopes she will have a comfortable Christmas, recommends that she get some heating apparatus into the passages at Stafford Terrace.
