DescriptionRed leather bound album, containing fixed and loose photographs, mainly interiors of the house, but including also 2 photographs of Linley in his studio, inscribed April1906, which are the first in the album. The interior photographs are copies of some of the 1976 National Monuments Record, and 1979 GLC photographs, as well as postcard copies of the nine 1923 Argent Archer photographs. The loose photographs are an undated set of 9 interiors by AF Kersting, 37 Frewin Road, London SW18, inserted at pages marked for items to be numbered 43-46. Inserted between the second and third leaves is a typewritten letter to the Earl of Rosse from Christopher Hussey of Country Life Magazine, dated 28 Dec 1951, requesting historical information about Linley and the house for a proposed article. Also inserted is a handwritten sheet of paper giving a brief genealogy for Linley and a record of his working life, written on Brooks's headed paper, possibly by the Earl of Rosse in response to the enquiry from Country Life.
