DescriptionTwo female figures are represented in Classical drapery and crowns. The figure on the left, holding a parasol inscribed with ‘PARIS’, smiles and gestures to the river with the Eiffel Tower in the background. On the right, the figure with ‘LONDON’ inscribed on her crown, looks down dejectedly whilst a working man stands on a boat on the River Thames. A decorative wall with lamp posts divides the two scenes.
