Fall front is marquetry inlaid with an urn in the neo-classical style, flanked by floral garlands. The fall front drops to reveal an interior fitted with a central cupboard flanked by two faux books entitled 'Ladies' Magazines', two pigeon holes and fourteen small drawers all with small brass handles. The fall front is lined with a green baize writing surface. The base of the bureau is fitted with four graduated drawers each with a pair of swan-necked brass handles and inlaid with decorative satinwood banding. |
