DescriptionA lockable, rectangular decanter box with hinged lid made of mahogany with carrying handles on each side. The top and front is inlaid with conch-shells in an oval paterae and two bands of harewood inlaid with an interweaving rope pattern that runs from the lid to the front. The edges of the box are inlaid with striped marquetry. The interior of the box is fitted with nine compartments lined with red felt. In each compartment is a square shaped glass decanter bottle with rounded shoulders decorated with gilt stars and lined border. Each bottle is stopped with a star shaped stopper also decorated with gilt. The nine bottles are each marked with a hand written label in red and black ink: 'Creme de Noyeau', 'Pere Kermann', 'Old Brandy', 'Kirschwasser', 'Rigakummel', 'Cherry Brandy', 'Curaco', 'Abricotine' and 'Yellow Chartreuse'.
