DescriptionMahogany caned bergère armchair with reeded edges, raised on short turned legs on castors. Two green leather armrests are set into the wooden arm tops. Two loose seat and back cushions worked with Berlin work that consists of wool threads using cross stitch. The edges of the covers are bound with red wool cord. The cushion backs are cover with green twill [wool] fabric. Cushions are of squab construction, filled with hair stuffing.
