| Description | Kingwood and marquetry commode with a mottled grey and white top, below which are three long drawers (one slim, the other two larger in height) all with two ormolu ring handles on embossed octagonal back plates and asymmetrical escutcheons. The bottom two drawers are inlaid in the centre with an urn with doves flanked by scrolling foliage, within a mandorla shaped framework. Commode is elevated on short square tapered legs. |
