Description[Flemish] ornately carved and stained oak corner chair. Cherub masks on the uprights framing the back panels carved and pierced with birds scrolling foliage, standing on three cabriole legs, the knees with a mask and foliage, ending in hoof feet and united by four square stretchers. The seat is fully upholstered with a top cover of modern cut and uncut green cotton velvet (original upholstery studded with brass nails). The upholstery has webbing, but no bottom cover. The edges are trimmed with a silk gimp adhered in place .
