| Description | Small upholstered elbow armchair with low seat and buttoned rectangular backs and arms. The back rail is button upholstered and extends into the side rails to form the arm rests. Each arm rest is supported with a turned ebonised support. The chair back, arms and seat are fully upholstered in blue and gold brocade and the lower seat edges are trimmed with a deep, plied fringe of gold and blue silk. The arms are trimmed with a similar, but shorter fringe. The upper backs are trimmed with a plied cord of several colours of wool with a cotton core. |
