DescriptionAn ebonised wooden kneehole dressing table that sits on shaped feet. On top of the dressing table is a central rectangular mirror held on swivel screws. Flanking the mirror on each side is a small cupboard; the doors display a panel of mirror and a gilt metal escutcheon. The top of each small cupboard and the dressing table are lined with detachable white marble. The frieze, that runs the width of the dressing table, contains three drawers. Below the frieze, on each side is a cupboard, the cupboard door featuring a gilt metal ring handle and escutcheon. All door and drawer panels decorated with stringing lines painted white in imitation of ivory. The central kneehole comprises of a low platform.
